Super Clyde is the Comic Book Superhero Show We Need on TV
Super Clyde is the Comic Book Superhero Show We Need on TV except CBS have nixed the comedy starring Rupert Grint and Stephen Fry. You know, just in case you needed more proof that the folks who brought you Two and Half Men really do hate comedy.
I can’t really fathom how a comedy staring Stephen Fry wasn’t given a green light. Lemme reiterate that just in case you’re not an Anglophile like I am: Stephen Fry pretty much embodies what it means to be funny in the UK. And from the slew of articles I found screaming “this show is awesome, why aren’t they making it?!?” I don’t seem to be the only one scratching their head at CBS’ decision.
Super Clyde follows the adventures of a comic book loving, fast food worker (played by Grint) “who inherits a boatload of money from a crazy uncle and decides to become something of a superhero, giving help to those in need.”
Um, hello Fan Bros do I smell a call to arms?
I mean a show about someone who loves comics and becomes a superhero and it was canceled? Okay, I know what you’re thinking: it was probably crap. But here’s the thing, it’s not. Don’t believe me? See for yourself!
Now, let’s get this show on the air!
