Happy Halloween, ScreamBros! This week we’re right in the middle of Dia de Muertos, a three-day celebration and national holiday in Mexico where the dead are honored and remembered. Jamie and Chico talk about the tradition and why its so important, discuss their own ways of remembering lost loved ones and the weird ways in which religion and pagan rituals have intertwined and evolved over centuries.

Plus, we look into Mexico’s rich history of horror and spotlight two favorites, Alucarda (1977) and Poison for the Fairies (1984), two films you will definitely want to add to your horror queue. And we also look at two films which give some vibrant insight into the Dia de Muertos celebrations and traditions with Spectre (2015) and The Book of Life (2014).
