Scandal reconvened its final season Thursday night. The series that began the TGIT craze bows out in April. But not before heads roll for the sins of Olivia and Associates.
The midseason finale ended with one question – did Rowan kill Quinn? Last night’s episode revealed the truth. Her body, charred by flames, was found in an abandoned car. Grief-stricken the team assists Charlie with the funeral arrangements. Little by little guilt and suspicion rears its ugly head.

Olivia drowns her sorrows in wine tasked with penning the eulogy. Realizing her actions set Quinn’s fate in motion is too much to bear. And everyone is oblivious to this truth – except for Huck.
Huck pieces together clues specific to Liv’s change in behavior. He theorizes Olivia killed Quinn when she discovered the truth about Rashad’s death. Abby dismisses his hypothesis but he doesn’t let it go. His premonition drives him to an AA meeting. He’s thirsty for blood.
Elsewhere Cyrus is dealt an unforeseen blow. His boyfriend ends their courtship after digging into Cyrus’ past. Cyrus reminds him he didn’t obtain his riches cleanly either, but this doesn’t change his mind.
As Quinn’s funeral draws near, the gladiators go through the motions. Charlie has her cremated, her remains placed in bullets. The day before the daunting ceremony, Huck finds Liv drunk in the office with her white hat. Her visible sorrow for her lost friend keeps him from killing her on sight.

The funeral happens. The family tells Quinn goodbye. Each firing a bullet, flashing a memory. A touching send off to their fallen comrade. Liv channels her grief in Fitz. Huck in his unflinching hunch surrounding Quinn’s killer. Charlie wanders onto Rowan’s doorstep.
He asks to become a killer again. Rowan refuses his offer, advising him to go home. Then the unthinkable occurs. A baby’s cry leads Charlie upstairs Rowan’s home where he discovers a child. His child.
This revelation brings questions to Quinn’s final hours, which seemed to be explored in next week’s episode. Return here on FanBros.com for a run down of Scandal’s end.
