Telltale & Night School Studio Release: MR.ROBOT:1.51exfiltratiOn
Telltale Games and Night School Studio has just announced the release of the MR. ROBOT Telltale mobile game MR.ROBOT:1.51exfiltratiOn for iOS and Android. Fans know of the mysterious tweets originating from the E Corp Messaging twitter account which is now revealed to actually be a component of the story. The game will allow fans to communicate with the members of fsociety, over the course of a week in real time.
Developed in collobaration with Universal Cable Productions and USA, the app takes a deeper dive into the world of MR. ROBOT, built by (who I call) the TV-Hacker, Sam Esmail. As shared by Sean Krankel, co-founder of Night School Studio:
“Working hand in hand with Sam, series writer Kor Adana and UCP, we’ve created an opportunity for players to meaningfully interact with characters like Elliot (Rami Malek), Darlene (Carly Chaikin) and Cisco (Michael Drayer), truly feeling like they’re joining the hack at a critical moment in the TV series. As fans, it’s nothing short of a dream come true for us.”
“Ever since MR. ROBOT burst onto the scene, fans have been looking for new ways to immerse themselves more deeply into its story and overall experience,” said Richard Rothstein, Executive Vice President, Current Programming, Universal Cable Productions. “This game does just that, giving players a chance to interact with the series characters on a journey only possible in the world of MR. ROBOT.”
MR.ROBOT:1.51exfiltratiOn is available now for $2.99 USD or equivalent on the iOS App Store and the Google Play store for compatible Android-based devices. Fans can follow @ECorpMessaging on twitter for updates on the game, or visit telltale.com/publishing/mr-
