Moschino x Super Mario Collection
Next up in the pop-culture Ferris Wheel in the House of Moschino (the same brand that brought you high end SpongeBob and McDonald’s inspired street wear) comes their Super Mario capsule collection in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Super Mario Bros.
The official collection, called Super Moschino, is scheduled to drop on Saturday, December 5th on moschino.com, at Moschino boutiques worldwide, and at high-end multibrand stores. The collection includes “printed t-shirts and knitted sweaters…along with a series of colorful bags and accessories in leather…all personalized with images of Luigi, Princess Peach, coins, stars and mushroom.”
Considering this is a luxury brand, don’t expect anything to be super affordable in this collection–though it is guaranteed that everything will sell out early. While this is not the first major fashion house and tech collaboration (i.e. more recently, DvF and Google Glass, every cell designer cell phone case ever…) its intriguing considering the brand helmed by Jeremy Scott has been making waves in the media recently. You’ve probably seen or at least heard about the campy Moschino Barbie commercial featuring a mini Jeremy Scott:
So we gotta ask—do you think this collection is credible or just crap? Hit us up in the comments!
