    Men In Black

Thor: Ragnarok stars Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth proved to be a magic combination in Taika Waititi’s breakout hit. The duo suit up again, dressed to the nines for Sony Pictures’ upcoming Men in Black sequel, scheduled for a June 2019 date. The new project is set to be a continuation of the original films, and according to Deadline Hollywood “more of an ensemble piece.” This time around instead of focusing on just the two agents, producers are on the lookout for an older man to round out the trio. Not that many would mind the obvious stunt-casting, but you probably have an idea on who most people are rooting for.

The untitled Men in Black sequel is set to take place in London this around, with no plans for Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones’ Agent J and K to appear. This will be the fourth canonical film in the MiB franchise, the previous three all directed by Barry Sonnenfeld. F. Gary Gray will take the helm this time as director, with Steven Spielberg continuing as executive producer. Gray started out as a music video director, for acts such as TLC, Babyface and Cypress Hill, as well as movies The Fate of the Furious and Straight Outta Compton. Movie fans may also remember plans for a Men in Black/21 Jump Street crossover, which is supposedly still in development.

Fans of the Valkyrie character should check out Marvel Comics’ Exiles #1, written by FanBros fave Saladin Ahmed. The relaunch will feature a brand new team, of which the Thompson-inspired iteration plays a major role. Also among the time-tossed team is an older version of fan favorite Kamala Khan. Exiles #1 is set to hit comics stores on April 11th.
