Co-Op Raids Coming To Pokémon Go

To anyone still playing last year’s mobile phenomenon, Pokémon Go, in the next update you will be able to get with a friend and take down the Pokémon in your area together. Not exactly what every Pokémon Go player was asking for (cough, cough, PvP battles), but still a pretty cool addition to the game. Along with the new update is a new mechanic called Motivation. As a gym’s Pokémon continues to defend the gym, it will lose motivation and also CP. Even if you’re not able to defeat the Pokémon, you will be taking a chunk out of its Motivation. Motivation can be replenished with berries.

New Footage Of Beyond Good & Evil 2

After what many regarded as a brilliant CGI trailer, many still wondered what long-awaited sequel Beyond Good & Evil 2 would look like with the drastic graphical style change. In the last week we were able to get a peek at the title. If you click here to watch it, Creative Director, Michel Ancel shows us some early in-game footage and it looks very interesting.

    Modern Warfare Remastered Goes Standalone

After what seemed like forever, Activision is finally releasing Modern Warfare Remastered as a standalone product. Fans have been asking for this since it was announced to be packaged with Infinite Warfare, a less desirable game in the series. Ask and you shall receive, it will be released June 27th (not including DLC for some reason), and it will be available for $40. You can see the trailer for it here.

Fans of the classic Sega games will be delighted to hear that the company has launched a mobile app that will a game launcher that will be getting a classic game every month for free. GTA 5 Mods Are Safe

As I reported last week, Take-Two issued a cease and desist to the primarily single-player mod tool, Open IV. After this ridiculous action, they were hit with backlash with gamers tanking the game’s steam review score and launching a petition to save Open IV. In a recent statement by Rockstar, it looks like single-player mods are here to stay. You can see the statement here, and modders can rejoice. It’s great to see that Rockstar took control of the situation, who wants to play vanilla PC GTA 5?

    SNES Classic Revealed

After the would-be success of the NES Classic (if Nintendo had stocked shelves accordingly, it would have sold phenomenally), many were asking for another nostalgia trip, preferable of the SNES era.
