    Final Fantasy Adds Gordon Freeman?

The PC version of Final Fantasy XV will be getting some exclusive treats, one of which is the suit of gaming’s favorite crowbar-wielding theoretical physicist Gordon Freeman from Half-Life. Noctis can wear the iconic suit and glasses combo in the single-player story and you can put it on your own customizable character in the game’s multiplayer Comrades expansion.

It also comes with a crowbar to beat the baddies with.

The Half-Life pack is free for anyone that buys Final Fantasy XV off of Steam before May 1st. There’s a demo starting on February 26th that’ll allow you to play the entirety of the game’s first chapter before the game releases next week.

Metal Gear Survive Charges $10 For Extra Save Slots Because That’s Where We Are Now

Metal Gear Survive released this week and its reception is about as disappointed as you’d expect. It’s a bland survival game that features exhilarating combat where you poke zombies with a stick. That’s not the only way Konami was going to disgrace the Metal Gear series it seems. Apparently, if you want create another save slot to start another character, you’re going to have to pay up. Going to the save menu will show you your first character’s slot along with three orange locks to the right. These locks are locked save slots that will only unlock once you pay 1000 SV coins. Going to your platform’s store to buy SV coins reveals your options.

Doesn’t even give you the option to buy 1000 straight up.

The 1150 option is $9.99. This is garbage.

Can’t wait to see the next Death Stranding trailer!

    Burnout Paradise Remastered

I’m sure fans of the Burnout series have been waiting for this for a while. 2008’s Burnout Paradise is getting a remaster for the Xbox One and PS4. It’ll be released with 4K support and at a beautiful 60 FPS. With the announcement came a trailer showcasing how smooth it looks that you can watch here. The wait for it won’t be too long either, you’ll be able to jump back into Paradise City on March 16th, but you can pre-order it here.

Also notable, there won’t be any microtransactions, which is great! I’m sure some people were worried since it’s an EA title, but luckily they came through on this one. Now if only they could fix everything else.

That’s the news for this week! Excited to don Gordon Freeman’s HEV suit in Final Fantasy XV? Disgusted by Konami’s further destruction of the Metal Gear series? Let us know below! In case you missed last week’s roundup, you can get caught up by clicking here. As always, be sure to come back next week for another gaming news roundup.
