The Final X-Men Apocalypse Trailer is a lot more Chipper than the Last

Here it is, the final X-Men Apocalypse trailer before the movie drops in a few weeks. Beside it featuring a a better look at the Cairo battle with more complete CGI and a tease of cameo that was totally expected, this trailer definitely has a tone shift from the last.

We previously joked how every is always awful for the X-men in their movies. The last trailer, featured somber and serious faces dramatically reacting to things, set to ominous music. There’s still plenty of that here, but its easy to see the latter half of this trailer is a lot more chipper than the first two. Who knows if the success of lighthearted Deadpool or the plummeting tickets sales of the brooding Batman v Superman is the cause, but Fox clearly cut this trailer with more levity in mind.
Is it working? Are you excited to see X-Men Apocalypse yet or are you still kind of “meh?”
